Type of naturalisation
... Former Liechtenstein citizens (EA 1a)
Until 1974, Liechtenstein women who married a foreigner lost their Liechtenstein citizenship. LGBl. 1974 No. 50, which came into force on 19 August 1974, gave Liechtenstein women who had lost their Liechtenstein citizenship as a result of marriage to a foreigner the possibility to readopt on application their former Liechtenstein citizenship.
- Adoption (EA 7a)
A distinction is made as to whether the naturalised person was resident in Liechtenstein (EA 7a) or abroad (EA 7b) at the time of the adoption.
- Legitimation (EA 8a)
A distinction is made as to whether the naturalised person was resident in Liechtenstein (EA 8a) or abroad (EA 8b) at the time of legitimation.
