2024: Time series break 2023/2024: The high immigration figures for reporting year 2024 is due to a change in the population definition that will take effect this year. Consequently, persons who were not previously counted as part of the permanent resident population will now fall into this category. Permits under the Foreigners Act
Taking up employment: Other reasons include, in particular, recognised refugee, asylum application, granting of a humanitarian permit and re-granting of a C or D permit.
Other reasons: Zu den anderen Gründen zählen insbesondere Anerkannter Flüchtling, Asylgesuch, Erteilung einer humanitären Bewilligung und Wiedererteilung der C- oder D-Bewilligung.
