Type of insurance
Compulsory health care insurance
Reserves of compulsory health care insurance: The extended compulsory health care insurance was introduced on January 1st 2014. Therefore reserves of the formerly voluntary health insurance according to art. 16 par. 2 KVG are not included in the voluntary health insurance any more, but are assigned to the compulsory health care insurance. This explains part of the increase of the reserves of the compulsory health care insurance.
