Greenhouse gas emissions are recalculated annually. Any methodological adjustments or changes in the data sources affect the entire time series in the event of a recalculation.
LULUCF: Land-use, land-use change and forestry.
Gg: One giga gramme (Gg) corresponds to 1'000 Tonnes.
Target value: According to the Emissions Trading Act (LGBl. 2012 No. 346), greenhouse gas emissions must be reduced by 55% overall by 2030 compared to 1990. At least 40% of this reduction is to be achieved through domestic measures.
